Automatically: Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

›To process and manage service bookings
›To match customers with appropriate service professionals
›To communicate booking confirmations and updates via WhatsApp
›To calculate and process professional earnings and commissions
›To display verified reviews and ratings on professional profiles
›To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and direct solicitation violations
›To improve our platforms and customer experience
›To comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law

3. Artisan Phone Number Protection

Service professional phone numbers are never shared publicly. They are stored securely and accessible only to authorised VHS Pakistan administrators. This protects both customers (from unsolicited contact) and professionals (from being bypassed on the platform).

All customer-professional communication is facilitated through VHS Pakistan's WhatsApp number. Direct contact details are never disclosed to either party.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

›With service professionals: only the customer name, area, and service type needed to fulfil a booking
›With law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by Pakistani law
›With our technology service providers (hosting, database) under strict confidentiality agreements

5. Data Retention

Customer booking records are retained for 3 years for accounting and dispute resolution purposes. Professional application and identity documents are retained for the duration of the professional relationship plus 2 years.

Reviews are retained indefinitely as part of the platform's trust and safety record. You may request removal of a review you submitted by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

›Access the personal data we hold about you
›Request correction of inaccurate data
›Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
›Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
